 Family to Family
A ministry of TABC to address Mental Health Issues through the National Alliance on Mental Illness is available at TABC. NAMI is a non-profit organization which provides public information, peer education and support, raises awareness to fight stigma, and an advocacy organization for mental healthcare services and legislation at the local, state and national levels.
The primary focus of the ministry at TABC is to host the Family to Family Education Program sponsored by NAMI which is designed to educate caregivers of those with a serious brain disorder (mental illness). However, direction to support groups and educational opportunities for those with a brain disorder can also be provided.
The next Family to Family class will be Saturdays, January 9, 2010 - March 27, 2010.
